**This post represents my own thoughts and opinions and is in no way a confirmation of the closure of Bin Weevils, only a speculation.**
Hello there, Bin Weevils! In this post I'll be sharing my opinions on why I feel Bin Weevils is heading for certain doom and closure in the near future.
Declining Updates
In the recent years, it has become apparent that Bin Weevils has not received a major gameplay update. In the last month, players have only been entertained by 'recycled' events. Bin Weevils has lacked any large updates, possibly hinting to the closure of the game.
Hacking and Exploits
Recently, we've seen Bin Weevils used as a multiplayer game for illegal hacking and exploiting. It has gotten worse, with exploiters being able to spawn bots and lag the game. 55Pixels have taken no action whatsoever and this foreshadows they no longer care about their game.
Excessive Advertising
Due to a loss in profits from the membership subscription, 55Pixels have had to add many excessive adverts in Bin Weevils, to raise funds for the upkeep of their weak servers and lazy team. Due to a loss in funds, could Bin Weevils be slowly dying?
Weevil World
55Pixels is planning to release Weevil World, a mobile sequel to Bin Weevils. 55Pixels have commented that 'Bin Weevils is not closing anytime soon'. Surely, if Weevil World becomes a hit, the now profitless Bin Weevils would be discontinued, similar to Club Penguin.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this post. If you have any other reasons that Bin Weevils may be closing, please feel free to share them in the comments below.
